Small
Group Presentation Skills Training at Your Location
Small
group programs are designed for participants at all skill levels. Most
often, participants prepare brief presentations prior to the workshop
and receive constructive assessments of their current communication
strengths and opportunities. We share Disney’s philosophy that “laughter
and learning are not enemies.” This creates an accelerated learning
environment where your group feels safe experimenting with new
approaches.
Through hands-on instruction, demonstration,
experimentation, multiple on-camera presentations, peer feedback and
professional coaching, as well as three months of follow-up support,
participants learn how to meet the demands of their speaking situations
and deliver compelling world-class presentations. Participants also receive
DVDs of their presentations and coaching, our step-by-step presentation
planners,
and David's books Simply Speaking!® The No-Sweat Way to Prepare and
Deliver Presentations and How to Avoid Death by
PowerPoint!™.
Because
of the high level of individual attention, these programs are typically
limited to ten people. If your group is larger, you may bring in an
additional Simply Speaking® coach. Programs range from one half-day to
three full-days. Multiple-day
programs provide you with the most value as they provide participants
with the most time for experimentation, feedback, coaching and growth.
In three-day programs, the third day consists exclusively of
private
coaching sessions, where select participants continue honing their
skills or specific presentations.

Large Group Presentation Skills Training at Your Location
Large
programs are typically designed for groups of 15 or more with varying
skill levels. In a fast-paced, fun, and completely interactive learning
environment, participants are shown the most effective methods to
prepare and deliver presentations applicable to their real world. At
times, the group is divided into smaller groups (all remain in one
room), where participants deliver brief presentations and receive
immediate peer feedback. Volunteers present to the larger group and
receive professional coaching in a manner where everyone learns from the
experience. All participants receive David’s best-selling books
Simply Speaking!® and Death by PowerPoint!™ as well as the
opportunity to participate in a one-hour follow-up group teleseminar to
address common questions, reinforce learning, and continue raising the
bar. Large programs range from one hour to one full day.
