Small
Group Presentation Skills Training at Your Location
Small
group programs
are designed for participants at all skill levels. We start with a
complimentary consultation to identify your needs, review a previously
recorded presentation, if available, and utilize online assessments to
identify participants’ perceived communication styles.
We share Disney’s
philosophy that “laughter and learning are not enemies.” This creates an
accelerated learning environment where your group feels safe
experimenting with new approaches. We build upon each person’s strengths
and personality so everyone excels quickly and comfortably.
The program is 100% learn-by-doing. Most often, participants prepare
brief presentations prior to the workshop and receive constructive
assessments of their communication strengths and opportunities. Through
demonstration, experimentation, multiple on-camera presentations, peer
feedback and professional coaching, participants learn how to meet the
demands of their speaking situations and deliver compelling world-class
presentations. Participants create personal action plans for continuous
improvement and receive DVDs of their presentations and coaching, our
step-by-step presentation planners, David's books, Simply Speaking!®
The No-Sweat Way to Prepare and Deliver Presentations and How to
Avoid Death by PowerPoint!™, andessential follow-up phone
and email support.
Programs typically range from one to three days, with our two-day
program being most popular. Multiple-day programs offer the greatest
value as they provide the
time to polish the details that can make all the difference.
The last day is either a group session or private sessions throughout
the day. To ensure individual attention, these programs are limited to
ten people. If your group is larger, you may bring in an additional
Simply Speaking® coach or select a large group program.

Large Group Presentation Skills Training at Your Location
Large
programs are typically designed for groups of 15 or more with varying
skill levels. In a fast-paced, fun, and completely interactive learning
environment, participants are shown the most effective methods to
prepare and deliver presentations applicable to their real world. At
times, the group is divided into smaller groups (all remain in one
room), where participants deliver brief presentations and receive
immediate peer feedback. Volunteers present to the larger group and
receive professional coaching in a manner where everyone learns from the
experience. All participants receive David’s best-selling books
Simply Speaking!® and Death by PowerPoint!™ as well as the
opportunity to participate in a one-hour follow-up group teleseminar to
address common questions, reinforce learning, and continue raising the
bar. Large programs range from one hour to one full day.
